Sr. Accountant (Hybrid / Flex)

Our growing firm is looking for passionate problem-solvers driven to make a real impact! We are hiring a Senior Accountant with a background in project accounting to work closely with the CFO in providing accurate and timely financial reporting and insights to drive business performance and decision-making. The successful candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, deep understanding of accounting principles & standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. This role offers a dynamic work environment with the potential for growth into a Controller position within our organization.

Your role :

• Financial Reporting : Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analysis to provide insights into project performance and overall financial health.
• Month-End Close : Manage the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Project Accounting : Manage all aspects of project accounting for multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ensuring accurate project cost tracking.
• WIP Management : Oversee the tracking and reporting of Work In Progress (WIP), ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue and costs. Collaborate with project and billing managers to identify opportunities to improve our WIP Aging.
• Cash Management & Treasury : Oversee daily cash flow activities, ensuring efficient management of cash resources and accurate cash projections.
• Compliance & Financial Controls : Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to provide necessary documentation and ensure compliance with all audits and tax filings. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Collaboration : Work closely with CFO, project managers, billing managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and support project decision-making.

Your resume must include :

Starting Annual Salary Range : $90,000-$120,000. A variety of factors are considered when determining an offer including, but not limited to, market data, geographic location, experience, and specialized skills.
