Temporary General Laborer

The General Laborer supports daily operations in a warehouse and crate fabrication environment. This role involves assisting with the assembly, handling, and movement of crates, performing light fabrication tasks, and ensuring the workspace remains organized and safe. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and construction of wooden, metal, or composite crates.
• Handle, load, and move materials and finished products safely within the warehouse or fabrication area.
• Perform basic fabrication tasks such as sanding, painting, or prepping materials for assembly.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including sweeping, removing debris, and storing tools and materials properly.
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, following all safety protocols.
• Assist in inspecting crates and materials for defects or quality issues.
• Support shipping and receiving processes, including packaging, labeling, and staging materials for transport.
• Follow directions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to meet production and delivery goals.
