Safety Ambassador Supervisor

Job Description

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing mobile and foot patrol officers assigned to their shift. Supervisors are expected to provide a reasonably safe and secure environment for all properties and to assure the physical security of buildings and grounds. In addition to performing security officer position tasks, the supervisor provides supervision in all areas of responsibility to meet the goals of the company. They must also ensure subordinate staff complies with all policies and procedures pertaining to client properties and keep updated on changing property specifics.

The responsibilities are as follows :

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Complete rounds of exterior and interior of properties by foot patrol and vehicle patrol, daily reporting, employee training, scheduling, and coordination with management.
• Direct personnel changes during the shift and adjust posts as necessary
• Write concise reports using a mobile device (iPhone).
• Monitor community and report any unusual activities or investigate.
• Responds to system emergencies; investigates and completes accident reports, incidents, and clients’ complaints.
• Evaluates shift operations through personal observation of officers and dispatchers and recommends improvements or modifications to work practices.
• Serve as mediator in conflict / resolutions when involved in low-risk incidents
• Oversees and documents staff performance and reports to Account Manager in a timely manner
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

License / Certification :

CA BSIS Guard Card (Required)

Must be able to pass drug test

Must be have clean driving record (if mobile patrol required)
