Ambulance Driver
The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services is seeking an Ambulance Driver. This position is responsible for driving an ambulance to transport patients to and from hospitals and other institutions on emergency and non-emergency calls. The role involves transporting ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients, ensuring their safe transportation, and adhering to state and local traffic laws.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive an ambulance in compliance with state and local traffic laws.
- Transport patients to and from health care facilities.
- Lift and transfer patients between beds and stretchers.
- Report traffic accidents and complete required accident reports.
- Assist in emergency care and complete daily trip reports.
Requirements :
