• Seeking a Analog Power Design Engineer in McLeansville NC for Undersea Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems. Qualifications Required : Active Top Secret Clearance Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters.High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technologyExpert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis / designSolid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesCircuit Design expertiseAnalog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)Feedback / Control systems experiencePower System architecture and groundingIsolated Switching ConvertersTransmission Line Effects in power systemsEMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc)Magnetics Design and High Speed Design experience are desirableStrong troubleshooting ability : must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through componentsThe use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshootingExperience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and componentsAhead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematicsMotivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics designExceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projectsAbility to travel as neededAgile experience preferred.
