Grand Canyon University seeks a Program Manager, Institutional Analytics who is responsible for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data to support strategic decision-making across the institution. The role focuses on data integrity, reporting, and fostering a data-informed culture. The Program Manager will engage with stakeholders across the institution to develop reporting and analytics that enhance the effectiveness of the institution. Additionally, this role will provide vital support to the Office of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness by delivering data-driven insights and solutions that align with the department's objectives and initiatives.
What you will do :
Manage the development and operation of data visualization dashboards and reporting systems using Microsoft Power BI and Excel.
Develop and execute database queries and connections
Analyze institutional data, provide detailed reports to stakeholders, and create presentations based on findings.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across all reports and analyses, identifying and resolving anomalies.
Present data and conduct training sessions to enhance data literacy among faculty and staff.
Research and implement best practices in data analysis and visualization to drive innovation within projects for continuous improvement.
Create and maintain documentation related to processes, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Provide timely updates to the department head regarding project timelines, changes, and additional requirements.
Quickly shift priorities and manage unexpected changes to the project scope.
Create ad hoc analyses, reports, and data as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will need :
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related discipline such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a data-related field such as reporting, analytics, BI development, or a related area working with relational database models and creating and managing data connections.
Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, development of presentations and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel, etc.).
Strong orientation to detail and ability to develop test data and validate results.
Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills focused on data-driven decision-making.
Ability to manage multiple projects by stated deadlines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong and collegial interpersonal skills.
High degree of confidentiality and responsibility when handling information.
Must successfully pass background checks.
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
