Salary : $95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements :

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, either now or in the future.
• An active TS / SCI security clearance is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Python is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience in applying data science methodologies using common programming or scripting languages.
• Must be available to work on-site in Tampa, FL, five days a week.

Responsibilities :

As a Data Scientist, I will lead research and development initiatives aimed at pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence to support a defense intelligence mission client. My focus will be on creating Proofs of Concept (POCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that utilize Natural Language Processing (NLP), generative AI, and agentic AI.

I will design, develop, and implement innovative GenAI and AgenticAI techniques to address intricate, real-world challenges.

I will serve as an AI thought leader by producing whitepapers, presentations, executive briefings, reports, and other materials that support AI solutions and services.

I will guide federal clients with significant autonomy in AI strategy and development, which includes understanding agency needs, performing exploratory data analysis, building and validating models, and deploying those models in both on-premises and cloud settings.

I will act as a subject matter expert for GPS clients and the global AI partner ecosystem.

I will iterate on and / or establish repeatable, reusable processes and scalable data systems that address technical and deployment obstacles.

I will sustain and uphold best practices in data science concerning new methodologies, technologies, industry trends, and open-source packages.

I will collaborate across functions with other scientists and data engineers, federal account managers, and leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
