Description :
Under the general direction of the Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care to all ages of patients. The LPN assists the Registered Nurse (RN) in performing and coordinating direct patient care for a specific group of patients. The LPN functions as a collaborative member of the healthcare team utilizing our nursing philosophy, policies / procedures, and standards in all care. The LPN collaborates with ancillary personnel and demonstrates commitment to nursing practice, along with accountability and growth to promote best patient outcomes and patient, family, and staff experiences. The LPN promotes a safe practice and care environment.
Full access to medications is given to the incumbent of this position as the job responsibilities include handling, preparing, and administering medications within the LPN scope of practice and job description.
What you will need :
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current Practical Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
- CPR or BLS Certified
