We are looking for positive, enthusiastic, and outgoing individuals to join our team at a local Dog Daycare and Boarding Facility in West Austin (78730). Please verify the location is a reasonable commute before applying. We are seeking individuals to fill both part-time and full-time positions.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in getting hands-on training and experience caring for dogs and exploring the Animal Care industry more broadly. Our Animal Care Training program allows for dedicated, hard-working employees to learn and grow at their pace with a strong staff support system.
Experience with dogs and / or customer care is preferred but not required. However, that applying must be passionate about dogs and a great team player interested in gaining skills and growing. You would be working directly with the dogs, and attention to detail and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment is key.
Making each pup feel important is essential!
Responsibilities include :
- Taking dogs in and out using specific techniques (which will be learned through training)
- Monitoring playgroups for long periods outdoors
- Participating in both virtual and hands-on training sessions
- LOTS of cleaning, including scooping dog waste
- Using learned techniques to ensure each individual dog is happy and comfortable
