Catastrophe Response Team - Traveling Storm Adjuster
19.25 - $32.59 / hour

What You Will Be Doing :
We are looking for individuals that share Shelter’s values of serving our customers and doing the “right thing”. This is an opportunity to put your talents to work in a meaningful way. As a CRT Adjuster you will be serving our customers that have been impacted by a catastrophic event with a primary focus on wind and hail events. You will investigate, analyze, evaluate and settle insurance claims involving property damage losses. You will specialize in adjusting property claims requiring physical inspection which requires extensive travel to a variety of geographic locations. You will determine value of a claim and negotiate settlements. The position involves handling of complex property losses requiring expertise in fraud detection and prevention.
Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a credit report, motor vehicle report and criminal background check may be ordered on final candidates.

- Ability to learn through on-the-job training / training courses and obtain multi state licensing

- Capacity to travel for extended periods of time

- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
