Job descriptionStrong understanding of entertainment lighting equipment. Basic understanding of systems networking. Understanding of electrical concepts. Understanding of small electronics and circuitry. Job requires being thorough in completing work tasks, with attention to detail. Ability to solder small electronics. Basic carpentry skills are preferred. The employee must be multi-task oriented, with a high level of professionalism, calm and collected under pressure and a team player. Three (3) years previous experience with entertainment gear preferred, specifically with moving lights and associated equipment. Technical / Electronics training and experience is required. Candidates must also be in good physical condition with the ability to lift 75lbs. Organizational, as well as computer skills are also required. Candidates must be a team player and have the ability to work independently.

We are recruiting for a Repair Technician in our New Jersey location to repair, maintain, and organize all damaged or faulty equipment and parts. This includes, but is not limited to, any moving lights, static LEDs, consoles, networking equipment, cable, power distribution, cases. Workflow will follow company standards and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :
- Manage all aspects of repairs from diagnosis to completion.
- Documenting progress and status thoroughly throughout repair process.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in the department to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Communicating with technician team to solve issues and identify consistent problems in gear.
- Communicating consistently with Moving Light Lead.
- Assisting shop in daily operations as needed.
