The Team

The Creative Studio is a small but integral part of Culture Amp and design is instrumental in creating memorable and impactful brand experiences, connecting our audiences with Culture Amp’s mission of creating a better world of work. This is an opportunity to be part of a highly cross-functional marketing team and have a measurable and meaningful impact on the company’s growth trajectory.

The Opportunity at Culture Amp We’re looking for an experienced lead brand designer with a focus on motion to join Culture Amp’s creative team within the marketing practice to drive the evolution of our brand and creative work. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on brand craft, motion design systems, and the variety of deeply considered visual work that makes a B2B brand feel genuinely human.

This is an opportunity to define how the Culture Amp brand moves and help us scale motion and video work in a purposeful way. As a Lead Brand Designer you'll drive the development of motion graphics, and animated content across campaigns, product launches, and web while staying grounded in brand systems and standards. A big area of focus will be developing and owning our brand motion system and scaling motion across the brand. Our website will also be a big focus as we look to systemize motion across our component library and bring our pages to life with interactivity and moments of delight. Additionally there will be an opportunity to help bring our social channels to life with motion and video work as well.

You’re equipped with strong conceptual skills and have what it takes to bring ideas to life through polished execution and continuous iteration and learning. A successful lead brand designer brings together innovative ideas, design thinking, craft and collaboration to drive successful projects and outcomes. You’ve already explored how AI workflows can help in these efforts and are ready to lead those conversations as well.

What you'll need to be successful

  • 7+ years of experience working as a designer with-in a marketing function client side, or equivalent agency experience. Experience working in a fast growth B2B business is highly desirable.
  • A portfolio that shows strong strategic thinking and creative concept development and execution for multi-channel marketing campaigns and examples of well crafted motion and video projects plus experience developing motion based brand systems.
  • An ability to translate complicated product visuals from static into GTM visualizations, translating complex ideas into marketable motion and video deliverables. You need to be familiar with UI/UX design in order to build animated screen interactions and bring product storytelling to life with motion.
  • An ability to elevate a campaign or concept through the use of creative storytelling applied through the use of motion design and video editing.
  • Digital design knowledge and an interest in driving creative technology and innovation to optimise and scale design processes, templatise production and improve efficiencies with-in creative workflows including mastery over AI workflows for imagery, video and motion.
  • Experience working in partnership with marketers to deliver growth results across digital marketing channels at scale, including developing creative for global audiences and regional nuances
  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills to connect and simplify complex ideas and evolving project requirements
  • Excellent judgment in decision making, managing and communicating trade-offs when collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate the ‘why’, and lead discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions
  • A growth mindset and drive to continually experiment with new ideas, develop and improve your skills
  • Experience working with and guiding creative agency partnerships to deliver complex creative projects end-to-end.
  • A team player. No task is too small and you are willing to step in and help the team no matter the scope of the task. Comfort migrating between big, brand-defining work and fast-turn executional needs.
  • A demonstrated point of view on AI in creative work — how to direct it, when to override it, and what it means to maintain a high creative standard when AI tools are part of the process

Required technical skills and program competencies:

  • 7+ years of motion graphics experience on video marketing , product launches and social video content
  • Strong motion graphics skills in a deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and knowledge of 3D animation tools (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender)
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Weavy, LTX Studio, Runway, or similar)
