The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is responsible for managing the outgoing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role involves processing invoices, reconciling statements, maintaining vendor records, and assisting in financial reporting to support overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Invoice Processing : Receive, review, and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
• Vendor Payments : Prepare and execute payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers while adhering to payment schedules.
• Reconciliation : Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Expense Reports : Review and process employee expense reimbursements following company policies.
• Data Entry & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system.
• Compliance & Controls : Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Communication : Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
• Month-End Closing : Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, including accruals and reporting.
• Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and assist in implementing best practices.
