Associate Apparel Designer

Artful Home is looking for a team player, who appreciates what we do, to join our Merchandising team in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will own support in the development of the brand appropriate aesthetic and ethos of each line, and the tip-to-tip development of the lines associated with studio. Inclusive is the trend, color and style development from concept through sample stages, fit and into production hand offs, collaborating with the merchandising team to understand sales and performance, and reacting to consumer demand.

Additional responsibilities include :

• Executing design collections to the company calendar collaboratively with the merchandising and product team
• Assisting with all design trend information for the apparel lines
• Establishing and developing both process and new concepts / style for our collections
• Fulfilling all design logistics such as using One Drive to store documents and works, build lines for transparency to the team, and create and maintain libraries (style, trim, tech pac, photos); proofing and executing catalog copy and changes on Proofetics; managing and shipping all samples, swatches, and trim to relevant offices and all assets to external vendors; and aiding in the seasonal set up and break down of merchandising meetings in the studio
