Job description

Title : Web Application Developer / Technical Advisor (Looking for someone with a hands on development background looking to mold into a Technical Advisor role)

Location : Hybrid in Philadelphia - 2x per week on-site

Duration : 6 month contract to hire (Will go permanent)

Compensation

45 / hr - $58 / hr

90,000 - $120,000 salary)

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Healthcare benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, financial protection benefits, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options. 401k retirement account access is offered starting on the 90th day with employer matching after one year of service. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

3+ years of experience with Web Application Development (understanding of .NET / React or any similar tech stack)
Desire to grow into a Technical Consultant / Technical Advisor (advising on projects; turning business needs into technical requirements)
Experience supporting development projects working with cross functional teams - ideally for a large company
Strong communication and go-getter mentality

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Fortune 500 client is seeking a Web Application Developer to join their team Web Development team. This role verges from a true developer into a Technical Advisor role where you'd be required to lead technical development of an innovative group developing web based applications (.NET / React). He / She will be responsible for execution of planned feature development, technical design and architecture and providing ideation around solutions that drive results. Someone who can understand the business needs and turn them into technical requirements. This candidate should demonstrate a thorough understanding of requirement specification, design, coding, testing and support of information systems and should have previous experience working with off-shore development projects. Demonstrates an understanding of the changing business needs for the line-of-business supported and the impact these changes have on their service area. Advises clients on business problems, formulates options including assessing their relative merits and risks and works with clients to determine the best solution
