We're seeking a power electronic system engineering expert to develop and promote system solutions for Motor drives in various applications. This individual will be one of the key members of our system application engineering team for switching power and battery power applications. He / she will work closely with Applications Marketing, Field applications engineers, and sales managers closely to drive revenue growth by providing high-quality technical support. In addition, this individual will work with other application engineering teams to develop and optimize motor drive system solutions with products from multiple product lines. The position is highly visible and has an excellent career path.

Job description :

In your new role you will :

• Work with application marketing manager closely to provide detail technical support to customers to adopt infineon's system power solutions for motor drives in various applications including indoor and outdoor power tools, home appliances, robotics, e-bikes etc.
• Develop and optimize motor drive solutions with detail circuit analysis, simulation and bench validation.
• Generate reference schematics, BOM and test reports for customers.
• Write application notes for system power solutions and technical papers.
• Develop simulation models and design assistance tools.
• Develop technical training documents and perform training / seminars for FAEs and customers.
• Support FAEs and customers to solve technical issues.

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate :

Minimum of $172,800 salary per year

Maximum of $237,600 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
