About the Role :

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Technology team as a Solution Architect based in Shelton, CT or Miami, FL. The primary role of the Solution Architect, iOS Application is to design and plan the architecture of Subway's eCommerce iOS application focusing on creating scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions. The iOS application solution architect will ensure that the application's architecture is aligned with the enterprise technology strategy, adheres to the technology standards, security and privacy requirements, design patterns, and best practices. The solution architect will work as part of a product team but will have an indirect reporting relationship with an Enterprise Architect to align with the target state architecture

Help apply technology policies within solutions.\nDevelop and communicate best practices around predefined architectural patterns, proven for use in particular business and / or technology domain, together with supporting artifacts to enable their use.\nStay on top of emerging technology trends and ensure our Technology initiatives are well positioned for future.\nCoach & mentor other Software Architects and Engineers.\n\n\nQualifications (some examples listed below) : \n\nBachelor's Degree Required - Computer Science, Engineering, or advanced degree preferred.\n6+ years of professional experience as an iOS engineer, with a strong understanding of iOS app development, frameworks, and APIs.\nProficient in Apple's programming languages (Swift and Objective-C) and development tools as well as a deep knowledge of the different iOS frameworks.\nFamiliarity with design patterns like MVC and MVVM.\nUnderstanding of unit testing, UI testing, and best practices for ensuring app quality.\nHands-on experience in architecting, solutioning, delivery, coding, maintenance, and security of mobile applications that integrate with multiple backend systems.\nAdvanced level System Architecture and Design skills and experience.\nAdvanced level Systems Integration skills and experience.\nVery good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate abstract concepts in verbal, written, and visual forms at most levels in the organization.\nAbility to translate technical information into business language and concepts.\nExperience in the discovery, analysis, and application of industry trends.\nExperience identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technology risks.\nExperience leveraging a variety of frameworks and methods to develop and promote architecture.\n\n\nWhat do we Offer?\n\n\nInsurance Plans (Medical / Life)\nPension / 401K / RSP (country specific)\nCompetitive Bonus\nMobility Allowance\nTuition Reimbursement\nCompany Holidays\nEmployee Resource Groups \nVolunteering time\nAnd Many More.....\n\n\n\nThe Company is only considering applicants who are currently authorized to work in the country the position is based.
