Job descriptionServe as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on best practices for deploying and optimizing TDengine. Conduct technical workshops, proof-of-concept (POC) implementations, and demonstrations tailored to customer needs. Partner with sales and customer success teams to drive adoption and ensure long-term customer satisfaction. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for TDengine’s platform and ecosystem. Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization efforts in customer deployments. Contribute to the development of reusable architectures, templates, and documentation. Strong expertise in time-series databases, data pipelines, and analytics platforms. Hands-on experience with database systems, including schema design and query optimization. Be familiar with various infrastructure stacks and technologies (bare metal, cloud, VM, containers, orchestration), network, security, etc. Demonstrated expertise in executing hands-on work with various clouds, third-party tools, data migration, data modeling, and performance tuning techniques. Ability to work within the customer environment to understand their current stacks and be able to design solutions to meet the needs on customer infrastructure. Experience in shell programming and scripting (i.e., Bash). Software development using one or more of the following : Go, C, C++, Python, Rust, Java is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. At least 5 years relevant working experience. Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Architect to join our growing team. As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to design and implement innovative solutions using TDengine. Your primary goal will be to help customers maximize the value of our platform while addressing their specific use cases and technical challenges.
Responsibilities :
Solution Design and Architecture
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and existing infrastructure.
- Design end-to-end solutions leveraging TDengine’s platform, including data ingestion, storage, and analysis workflows.
- Develop integration strategies with other enterprise systems, including cloud services, IoT platforms, and industrial protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA).
