Possession of or ability to obtain Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification within two years of employment. Demonstrated experience in consultative sales, particularly in specifying premium products to architectural and design firms. Preferred experience in fenestration. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications. Familiarity with CAD-based design. Job Overview : Are you ready to take your career to the next level in sales? Marvin is seeking a dynamic professional with an architectural background to join our growing team. As an Architectural Sales Manager, you will spearhead new business initiatives, enhance brand visibility, and drive sales of the Marvin Collections to architectural and commercial design professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and nurture relationships with the architectural community to encourage the specification and purchase of Marvin products.
- Deliver engaging AIA Continuing Educational learning units at architectural firms.
- Pursue business opportunities with facility managers and owners of institutional properties.
- Organize and lead factory tours for targeted architects, designers, channel partners, and trade customers.
- Offer tailored product and technical solutions for individual project needs.
- Collaborate with the regional sales team to develop channel partners' programs and expertise for optimal sales in the architectural and commercial sectors.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays; a valid driver's license is required.
