About Us
We are Sila, a next-generation battery materials company. Our mission is to power the world's transition to clean energy. To create this future, our team is building a better lithium-ion battery from the inside out today. We engineer and manufacture ground-breaking battery materials that significantly increase the energy density of batteries, while reducing their size and weight. The result? Smaller more powerful batteries that can unlock innovation in consumer devices and accelerate the mass adoption of electric cars to eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels. We're tackling one of the biggest challenges of our time every day, and together we're redefining what's possible. Are you ready to be a part of a team committed to changing the world?

- Own program communications to major stakeholders : schedule, budget, costs, forecasts, risks, changes, and commissioning and operational readiness.
- Drives program funding efforts to meet timelines, with quantified options assessment.
- Push teams to evaluate and execute innovative designs and equipment options to improve schedule, reduce cost, and deliver operations-friendly systems.
- Assign, oversee, and track engineering and technical procurement deliverables. Ensure deliverables are resourced appropriately and re-assign or re-prioritize as needed.
- Manage drawing, design, and purchasing review cycles, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Identify and assess risks to engineering and equipment delivery; ensure appropriate risk mitigations are in place and communicated.
- Build out new design processes and tools at Sila, using past experience and industry best practices.
- Travel to build sites and contractors' offices for design and construction support as needed.
