ICMS is seeking a friendly and professional Full-Time Security Guard I to oversee a federal facility and can provide high-quality service, attention to detail, and understands the worth of exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have a confident personality and be equipped with excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Additional coverage may be necessary for other shifts during the week and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

The primary responsibilities of the position will include but not limited to :

• Greet visitors when they enter the building and guide them to their designated areas
• Process important queries and manage customer expectations in a polite and friendly manner
• Verify access badges
• Monitor building conditions; notify appropriate facilities / custodial personnel of issues
• Conduct evening tours to verify security of access / egress. Monitor parking areas and security cameras for anomalies or security issues
• Keep track of visitors and coordinate with onsite staff for escorting
• Answer telephones and monitor the security office
• Maintain control of all keys. This includes logging the keys in and out
• Provide detailed log report at the end of each shift. Must be filled in as instructed and no details missed
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment
• May be required to lift to 25 lbs.

Requirements :

Night Shift : Monday-Friday, 12 : 00am-8 : 00am

Pay Rate : $17.75 + Health & Welfare Benefits
