BSA Hospital is located in Amarillos medical district just north of Interstate 40 and houses 445 licensed beds. This award-winning hospital has been serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillos preferred healthcare provider.

Responsibilities

Provision and documentation of examinations, evaluations, establish functional OT diagnosis, prognoses, and plans of care including formulation of treatment goals, providing occupational therapy intervention to patients, measuring and reporting outcomes and formulating and carrying out discharge plans.

Supervision of licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students. Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals.

Individuals must comply with the Texas Occupational Therapy Practice Acts and Rules.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

Baccalaureate, Master, or Doctorate Degree of Occupational Therapy.

Current Texas Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy.

CPR Certification.

Preferred Job Requirements :

Occupational Therapy experience in an acute care hospital and / or rehabilitation facility with participation in a multi-disciplinary team
