We are looking for an adjunct instructor to come on staff to support our Artificial Intelligence training course in Charlotte, North Carolina! Note that this position is NOT remote, and an on-site presence is required in Charlotte.
The Adjunct Instructor is responsible for the delivery of in-person Artificial Intelligence (and related technical topics) bootcamps and workshops. This role partners with academic leaders to ensure a high-quality student experience and to provide necessary student support. The Adjunct Instructor also participates in lecturing, hosting review sessions, grading, advising, and supporting the curriculum.
You are expected to know generative AI, but experience agentic AI, NLP, LLM (etc.) is preferred.
Please also note that dates for the cohort are not finalized yet, but will occur between October 2025 and June 2026. The cohorts will be up to a combination of up to 4 full-time cohorts (1 week, M-F, 40 hours) and up to 4 part-time cohorts (5 weeks, one day per week, 8 hours). Ability to teach both is preferred. This represents the MAXIMUM number of possible cohorts, though it is possible there will be fewer.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Deliver and facilitate online and in-person Artificial Intelligence bootcamps and workshops.
- Collaborate with the education team to create, improve, and audit curriculum.
- Lead in-class exercises and projects and participate in lecture discussions.
- Ensure quality instruction that applies best practices and principles.
- Participate in student reviews and critiques.
- Inspire student learning and support perseverance through the challenges of learning new skills.
- Host review sessions and advise students to facilitate student success.
- Grade according to the provided rubrics and provide student feedback to help them understand any missing knowledge and / or understanding.
- Partner with instructional staff to best meet students' needs and learning styles.
- Provide students with prompt and meaningful feedback on their progress.
- Utilize your technical expertise to recognize student mistakes and correct any issues.
- Utilize your technical expertise to keep students within scope on any projects.
- Utilize your technical expertise to study new topics and support students with them.

Must be able to work on-site at the City of Charlotte government building.
Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise. For most roles travel would not be common. Travel may involve plane, car or metro.
