Qualifications
Education / Certification / Licensure
Master’s degree in Educational Administration
Valid Texas Teaching certification
Valid Texas Mid-management certification

Experience
Minimum of three years successful teaching experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Facilitate the development, revision, and administration of curriculum documents and assessment instruments.
- Facilitate staff development and meetings for Fine Arts faculty.
- Assist in the development, management, and implementation of the budget for Fine Arts programming.
- Facilitate exhibits, opening receptions, festivals, and district wide events.
- Contribute to district-wide calendar and website for Fine Arts.
- Contribute to the District Strategic Plan for Fine Arts.
- Attend district Fine Art programs, contests, exhibitions, productions, and events.
- Recruit quality teacher candidates.
- Participate in interviews of teacher candidates for professional employment in the fine arts in CCISD.
- Attend all district professional meetings as required.
- Attend Campus Improvement Council meetings.
- Assist in the development of plans for future facilities in fine arts.
- Support campus principal with any necessary teacher or parent conferences.
- Contribute to the Visual Arts Resource Manual, Music Manual, student codes of conduct, and grading policies for fine arts.
- Report to the Board of Trustees accomplishments of the program.
- Communicate with teachers through notes, memos, and cards the positive impact they are having on their students and programs.
- Assist in the development and facilitate “The Imagination Celebration,” the district festival held annually in October.
- Assist in developing the district staffing formulas for fine arts.
- Assist in supervision of fine arts teacher.

- Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
- Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.
- Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.
- Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
- Demonstrates proficient levels of technology applications.
- Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.
- Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school / department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
