Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- The primary responsibility of this role is to set up & operate extrusion machinery; setups, changeovers, adjustment, mechanical aptitude; ability to troubleshoot; visual & quality inspections, basic paperwork.
- Perform a variety of manufacturing processes using tools, fixtures, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions.
- Operate and monitor complex semi-automated technologies used in the manufacturing process.
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers and other hand tools, microscopes, visual inspection systems, engineering prints, and manufacturing instructions.
- Complete quality records including lot history records (LHR's), training records, labeling, etc.
- Provide setups, preventative maintenance and / or repair of manufacturing tools and equipment.
- Execute engineering protocols and document results in test reports and lab notebooks.
- Maintain workspace and equipment in an orderly, safe, and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and interface with other departments in developing solutions.
- Meet department goals for quality and output.
- Notify Process Engineer and / or Production Supervisor of any discrepancies to ensure quality standards and safety of operations are always maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
