Job description

Job Title : AW609 Assembly Line Technician

Job Description

The technician will be responsible for installing all mechanical parts on the assembly of the helicopter, such as rotor head, transmissions, engines, hydraulic lines, and flight controls. The role involves working in areas that may be cramped and with limited space. The technician will work from engineering drawings and job cards, following the production schedule, and must be able to overcome obstacles and determine the best methods to perform the job.

Responsibilities

  • Install all mechanical parts on the helicopter assembly, including rotor head, transmissions, engines, hydraulic lines, and flight controls.
  • Work from engineering drawings and job cards, adhering to the production schedule.
  • Perform job tasks within the given time frame.
  • Follow engineering drawings and revisions.
  • Ensure accuracy in installing assemblies.
  • Participate in on-the-job training.

Essential Skills

  • 3 to 5 years of mechanical aviation production experience.
  • Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.
  • General knowledge of aviation mechanics.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with aircraft, helicopters, inspection, mechanical assembly, repair, and aircraft maintenance.
  • A&P license is preferred.

    Pay and Benefits
