Now Hiring : Machine Assembler
Location : Farmington, CT
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM (Overtime possible)
Pay Rate : $25.00 / hour
Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Machine Assembler to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in machine tool assembly or manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex sub-assembly tasks with precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform complex mechanical assemblies using hand and power tools
Accurately measure components using inch and metric systems
Work from detailed blueprints, part lists, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
Contribute to process improvements to boost productivity and efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Participate in team meetings and apply decisions effectively
Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards
Support lean manufacturing practices and participate in Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP)
Requirements :
Minimum 2 years of experience in machine tool assembly
OR 5 years in manufacturing, maintenance, or machine tool part servicing
Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
Familiar with documentation and part lists
Ability to use precision measuring tools
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks
Basic computer literacy preferred
Experience with electrical wiring assembly is a plus
Forklift license is a plus
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required
