  • Component Assembly : Assemble parts or components according to provided instructions, blueprints, or diagrams, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Use of Tools and Equipment : Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently to assemble products, following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Quality Control : Inspect parts and finished products for defects, irregularities, or damage, and make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Problem Solving : Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in the assembly process, such as missing parts or incorrect specifications, by troubleshooting and communicating with supervisors or colleagues.
  • Workflow Coordination : Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of assembly tasks, collaborating to meet production quotas and deadlines.
  • Documentation : Record production and quality data as required, such as quantities assembled, defect rates, and production times, using paper or electronic forms or systems.
  • Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when handling tools, equipment, and materials, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including assembly stations, tools, and equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small parts and operating tools.
  • Attention to detail and quality, with a focus on producing accurate and defect-free work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and performing simple calculations related to assembly tasks.
  • Working Conditions :

  • Work may be performed in a manufacturing or production facility, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and machinery.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying objects, and repetitive motion tasks.
