Job Description

• Lead coverage of breaking / developing news stories both editorially and logistically for both the newsroom and field crews
• Research, coordinate & implement coverage of news stories
• Ability to quickly assess what is needed on coverage of breaking stories
• Ability to find & book experts and community members to appear on-air
• Collaborate with the website, social media, and streaming team
• Initiate & maintain communication with affiliates & NBC Network counterparts
• Consistently monitor and break news through social media platforms and tools
• This shift will start as an overnight weekend position, along with several weekday shifts.
• This is not a staff position. However, 40 hours per week through 2025 is possible

PLEASE NOTE : This is a project position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
