Our leading financial client based in Austin, TX is seeking an exceptional Art Director to join its in house agency.

As an Art Director, you will lead the creative vision of customizable animations and videos. Collaborating closely with writers, animators, video editors, and UX designers, youll develop strategic storylines, guide the artistic direction, and ensure the final product aligns with brand guidelines and client expectations. Strong communication, organizational, and client-facing skills are essential for managing multiple projects simultaneously within a platform like Sunday Sky. You will work on large-scale digital projects, often under tight deadlines, while collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
What youll bring :
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of Figma.
- Works within brand guidelines.
- Knowledge of animation and video process (you will not animate or edit).
- Experience with storyboarding for animation & video.
- Experience with using illustration to create storyboards.
- Experience manipulating existing illustration to create something new.
- Experience working with an animator and / or editor to communicate animation an editing direction.
- Understand web technologies, emerging design trends, user-centered design, touch screen design and mobile platforms.
- Great presenter.
- Mastered time management.
- Takes direction and feedback well.
- Knows when to ask for help.
- You will not code or animate.
- A BFA degree in Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years agency and / or enterprise experience.
- You must have exposure working with major brands in digital, animation & video.
- Portfolio required; link provided on resume.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $44.99 to $49.99 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
