Join Our Team : Full-Time Job Retention Coach Opportunity!
Location : Fort Wayne, IN 46805
Are you passionate about helping individuals achieve employment success and build sustainable careers? Our LSSI Works program is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Job Retention Coach to provide one-on-one coaching and support to participants during their first year of employment.
Summary of Work : The Job Retention Coach (JRC) will build meaningful, individualized relationships with LSSI Works participants to assess and address their needs on the job, at home, and within themselves. The JRC will support and advise participants, reinforcing key training lessons, and providing case management to build solutions to any challenges they encounter. This role is vital in ensuring participants retain their employment for a full year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Establish authentic, supportive relationships with participants
- Coach participants on the 5 Core Competencies : professionalism, problem-solving, communication, time management, and team building skills
- Collaborate with the Professional Development Coach (PDC) and Training Facilitators
- Administer needs assessments and facilitate values training, brand development, and speed interviewing
- Connect participants with resources for additional services such as health insurance, food stamps, appropriate clothing, and transportation
- Maintain regular communication with employed participants, including face-to-face meetings
- Encourage and motivate participants to reach their personal and professional goals
- Maintain and track employment partner relationships to ensure diverse employment options for participants
