The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to join our team. The branch manager is responsible for leading the company’s activities. They will work directly with Warehouse, Service, Sales, and Construction management within an assigned geographic region. Accountable for the growth and profitability within the designated area, including achieving revenue targets, maximizing profitability, increasing market share, building and maintaining customer loyalty, adherence to all company policies, and cooperation and collaboration with the functional leadership team. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Work with regional sales and sales support staff and direct account management for larger customers.
- Responsible for customer relationships and business development in assigned regions.
- Manage sales force within your region and analyze their progress.
- Must drive revenue and gross margin improvement in all facets of the services provided within the assigned region.
- Works closely with other functional areas to ensure an aligned approach in the assigned region, ensuring customer satisfaction and the achievement of business objectives.
- Leverage client relationships with other branches or regions and combine each other’s resources and expertise to serve the client better and increase sales.
- Participate in budgeting.
- Assisting with recruiting and developing new talent within the organization.
- Must be knowledgeable of product offerings.
- Assist with quotes / projects for the management team to ensure accuracy and profitability.
- Manage sizable projects awarded and keep track of budget.
- Develop and execute a market plan to drive market share growth and identify and target specific new customers. Identify resources needed to promote market growth and build a business case to support the strategy.
- Responsible for assuring adequate staff is deployed to support the jobs / projects.
- Oversee branch activities on jobs / projects to ensure that each is performed efficiently and in accordance with customer quality expectations.
- Provide oversight on all operations in the branch to assure efficiency and achievement of budgeted margins.
- Ensure field crews are working safely and according to OWL policies.
- Monitor billing throughout and quality to ensure invoicing supports regional financial goal achievement
- Work with company functional leadership to develop and achieve overall company objectives and strategic vision. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Keep track of and ensure accounts receivable are controlled and accounts are responded to efficiently and timely.
- Ensure all branch facilities are adequately maintained.
- Assist and participate in daily warehouse functions, working directly with the warehouse manager to assist with proper ordering, inventory, warehouse and trucks, min / max, and parts drivers. Help develop warehouse staff to be efficient and maintain goals and objectives.
