FOX8 WGHP is looking for someone who can bring energy, organization, and a sense of urgency to fill our open Assignment Editor position. You will help coordinate daily / nightly news coverage, react to breaking news, research and pitch story ideas. The right candidate should have excellent editorial judgement and have a keen sense of logistics.

Skills & requirements :

Good communicator
Listen to the scanner and respond to breaking news
Develop and maintain contacts
Assign crews and track them throughout the day
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, or related field preferred
