American Veterinary Hospital is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a key player in supporting our veterinary staff and ensuring the best care for our animal patients. Your main responsibilities will include :
Duties
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians during examinations and procedures
- Feeding, bathing, and exercising patients as part of their care
- Cleaning and maintaining examination rooms, equipment, and animal holding areas
- Handling basic administrative tasks, such as updating medical records and preparing treatment rooms
- Providing general care, such as nail trimming and ear cleaning
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of pets and their owners
- Helping with laboratory work, including sample collection and basic tests
