Job descriptionMust be available to start work as early as 5am and stay until work is complete. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday but must be available on weekends and holidays as needed No less than 45 hours per week. LOCATION : Food Solutions
POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting to the FSI Operations manager this position is primarily responsible for overseeing the day to day functions of the production floor, ensuring efficiency, safety and compliance standards are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Primary function is to :
- Oversee daily production, ensuring accurate preparation, consistent quality and compliance standards are kept
- Responsible for plant pre operation AM and post operation checks
- Determine the daily and weekly production schedule in advance, communicating with all departments for production efficiency
- Conducts weekly inventory and places orders with vendors as needed
- Complete BOH processes such as ensuring production quantities are logged accurately in the system, timekeeping and end of day processes, scheduling, managing label and more as deemed necessary
- Is able to train new team members, cross train and develop team member performance and capabilities
- Monitors team member performance. Has the authority to make suggestions regarding disciplinary actions
