Description
Summary :
This role requires an experienced professional with the ability to work with direct management in a dynamic customer environment while collaborating with peers to expand business functions.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting direct management by sustaining and growing the business unit. In addition, this position will be responsible for supporting management, controlling the group budget, and developing business strategies.
Requirements
Essential Functions :
Support management with various projects, including implementation, maintenance, development planning, and day-to-day operations.
Conduct preliminary investigations for all project requests, including reviewing requirements, specifications, testing, and training plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Assist organization leaders with financial planning and budgeting for long-term planning cycles.
Support the development and implementation of operational strategies and objectives.
Anticipate budget-related issues and identify trends to support informed, timely decision-making.
Identify system and process improvements and resource optimization opportunities.
Effectively leverage systems and shared team resources.
Collaborate and share best practices with other team members.
Lead innovative initiatives designed to minimize cost and maximize efficiency.
Act as a project manager for key initiatives.
Maintain a positive work environment, high morale, and uphold ethical and moral standards.
Manage staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Support staff development through clear communication of job expectations, performance monitoring, coaching, and enforcing policies and procedures.
