Job Purpose :
The Transformation Head of Portfolio will be instrumental in managing and driving forward key transformation initiatives across the business in collaboration with peers and key stakeholders.
Accountabilities :
1. Provide strategic oversight and direction to major transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives and the wider transformation plan
2. Manage the assigned portfolio, collaborating with various stakeholders including business sponsors, subject matter experts, internal and external delivery partners and clients as required to ensure smooth project delivery.
3. Lead the communication and implementation of projects and mobilisation activities, mitigating risks, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner and minimising disruption to business operations.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
5. Monitor project progress, managing any changes to scope, schedule, resources and costs to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Ensure project reporting is robust, and updates are provided to stakeholders and senior management in a timely fashion, providing recommendations on project adjustments if necessary.
7. Lead a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts, managing their performance and providing support, development and coaching to ensure they achieve their objectives.
Salary Banding : £70,000 - £80,000

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in managing and delivering transformation projects in a complex business environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to manage risks and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in high pressure environments whilst overseeing the delivery of multiple projects in parallel.
- Strong integrity and openness
- Proficient in project management software tools

The role is remote but must be able to travel to locations across the UK when required.
