We are looking for a skilled Facilities Assistant to be a part of our client's team in Fishers, Indiana on a contract-to-hire basis. The job function involves managing the facilities of the organization and providing excellent customer service. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our physical infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
Oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Respond to facility-related inquiries from staff and provide prompt solutions
Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring all work is completed accurately and on time
Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Coordinate with various departments to implement facility management policies and practices
Maintain records related to facility operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards
Provide excellent customer service, responding to requests and issues in a timely manner
Participate in planning and execution of facility-related projects
Assist in the implementation and management of emergency procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of facility management processes.
Demonstrable experience in Facility Management is required
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven problem-solving abilities
Must be a team player, able to work collaboratively with others
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to respond promptly to facility issues and emergencies
Willingness to perform various manual tasks like moving equipment or furniture
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items are essential.
