Superintendent
Join our team as a Superintendent for a key data center project. This program involves managing 17 sites between Umatilla and Boardman, OR. The project is expected to wrap up by mid-summer 2026, with potential for additional programs thereafter. The role begins on December 1st, with the project officially kicking off on December 15th. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week, overtime as needed. We are seeking a regional candidate to lead this project, open to per diem for non local candidates regionally.
Responsibilities :
- Develop a schedule and cost-effective plan for the completion of assigned projects.
- Collaborate with other staff to create preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
- Coordinate and schedule the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, communicating through project forepersons.
- Regularly inspect work for quality and timeliness; prepare and provide progress reports to owners and architects; make recommendations for necessary modifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, attorneys, and other pertinent stakeholders to ensure specifications, zoning requirements, and regulations are met.
- Ensure adherence to specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans.
- Obtain required permits and licenses; execute construction contracts according to terms of agreement.
- Monitor budget throughout the project and communicate variances as they occur.
- Maintain records related to costs and inventory.
- Address any safety violations or other deficiencies.
- Collaborate with union representatives to answer questions and clarify procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment :
The projects primarily focus on electrical and fire alarm replacements, with some programs including mechanical scopes.
Job Type & Location :
This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
