Job Description
The IdeaBar Live Events team is seeking a talented and creative Associate Producer to produce on campus events and shows. This role will be responsible for working closely with our Events & Meeting team, Account & Project management team, BMCE Experience team, Corporate Comms team, as well as with our Divisional Partners and Leadership team to produce flawless programs. This role will be responsible for the entire production process of our onsite events from participating in creative kick-off calls, through to final budget reconciliation, while maintaining excellent team and partner relationships. What You'll Do
Work with the Live Events team to develop the events budget, define parameters of a project, liaise with our Events Specialist to secure resources
Work with Manager to plan quarterly calendar of events, define scopes of all projects and to develop budgets for all programs
Manage all aspects of production for the meeting including hybrid, virtual, onsite, studio, and offsite events
Collaborate with Creative team to develop solutions for each brief
Work with Account and Production teams to develop and manage Budgets and Production Schedules
Participate in presentations to Partners
Create a run of show (ROS) for each program
Produce Meetings / Shows with a high level of production value within established budget.
Oversee load- in, set up, rehearsals and event execution
Maintain a safe work environment
Manage all post event requests

Who You Are / Qualifications
Minimum :
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in event production / management, including event logistics, pre planning preparation and top-notch delivery and execution. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field.
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Expertise in pre planning and time management skills
Proficient production and technical skills
Savvy with current industry / technology solutions
Ability to think on your feet
Maintain a fun and productive team atmosphere
Preferred : Travel : 10%
Work extended hours, when needed
Read and understand diagrams (using AutoCAD)
