The Scientist I Reagents Manufacturing is responsible for ensuring that quality products are manufactured safely and delivered on time to customers and serve as a team lead.

This position reports to Supervisor of Particle Standards Manufacturing and is part of the Particle Standards Lab (PSL) Team located in Hialeah FL and will be an on-site role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to :

• Perform pertinent tests to determine chemical and / or physical properties composition structure relationships and reactions utilizing spectrophotometry electrophoresis Flow Cytometers Particle Counters / Sizers and other laboratory techniques
• Train and advise production personnel in manufacturing procedures for product formulations and testing
• Write necessary reports initiate manufacturing document change orders and prepare standard operating procedures for processes facilities products and tests as required
• Participate in troubleshooting of various methods of production processes and recommend solutions or process improvements
• Interact with departments and colleagues within and outside of Production including but not limited to QC QA Development Marketing Engineering etc.
