Work Schedule : This position follows a day-shift schedule from Thursday to Monday. Candidates may select either a four-day, 10-hour schedule (4 / 10s) or a five-day, 8-hour schedule (5 / 8s), depending on operational needs.

The focus is on developing your technical knowledge and skills to solve more complex problems. Become familiar with all basic microbiological testing including but not limited to media making, Total Plate Count, Enterobacteriaceae, Yeast and Mold using Petrifilm and Petriplate methods : also presence / absence of E coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Pseudomonas testing

RESPONSIBILITIES

• If appropriate, uses laboratory equipment and instruments with minimal supervision
• Perform calibrations, and maintain calibration records
• Able to keep detailed and complete records
• Able to think analytically
• Have a good sense of timeliness and cleanliness
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office
• Ability to be flexible
• Ability to work as a team member
• Keep labs clean and organized
