Veterinarian Role at Vetco Total Care Full Service Veterinary Hospitals

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care through physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and providing preventive care according to patient signalment, lifestyle, and environment.
• Utilize a problem-based approach to develop complete problem lists, differential diagnoses, diagnostic plans, and appropriate treatments based on test results.
• Document patient observations, findings, treatments, and interactions in the medical record.
• Perform routine and complex surgical procedures, including spays / neuters, abdominal exploratory, and mass removals.
• Develop treatment plans for patients undergoing day hospitalization and communicate effectively with referral hospitals.

Requirements

Work Environment

The majority of job duties will be conducted in the Vetco Total Care veterinary full-service hospital. Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing for long periods of time. A large amount of time will be spent in direct contact with clients and their pets.
