Key Responsibilities Medical & Surgical Care : Perform comprehensive small animal physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, routine and complex medical treatments, and standard surgical procedures (spays, neuters, dentistry, mass removals, etc.). Diagnostics : Interpret diagnostic imaging (digital radiography, ultrasound) and laboratory results to formulate accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Client Communication : Clearly communicate health statuses, prognosis, and treatment options to pet owners, ensuring they are engaged partners in their pets care. Mentorship : Provide guidance and clinical support to Licensed Veterinary Technicians and support staff to maintain high medical standards and efficient workflow. Record Keeping : Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records (paperless systems). Protocol Development : Actively participate in the development and implementation of medical protocols, upholding the hospital's standards of care.
