  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment by ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and staff.
  • Budget and Cost Management :

  • Monitor project budgets and track costs to prevent overruns.
  • Approve purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, and change orders.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options without compromising quality.
  • Scheduling and Coordination :

  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules, adjusting as needed to accommodate changes or delays.
  • Coordinate material procurement, equipment usage, and workforce allocation to optimize productivity.
  • Ensure subcontractors adhere to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Quality Control and Safety Compliance :

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards on the job site.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Address punch list items and ensure smooth project closeout.
  • Risk Management :

  • Identify potential risks or obstacles and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during construction.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and milestones.
  • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to address concerns and align on project objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Qualifications :
  • Education :
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Certifications :
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or PE are a plus.
