TTUHSC's MAT Program was ranked the #1 Best Athletic Training Program in Texas.
The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences in the School of Health Professions at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position in the Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program at the rank of Assistant / Associate Professor to begin August 2024. The MAT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), and is one of six programs within the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences. Those five core values of Excellence, Professionalism, Agility, Resilience, and Servant Leadership are central to the program and are reflected in everything we do. We are especially interested in qualified candidates whose personal mission, vision, and values align with those of the MAT program.
The successful candidate will join one of the largest programs of its kind in the world, one of the first programs ever created at a health sciences center, and one of the first athletic training programs accredited at the master's level.
