The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in complex litigation, with a focus on multi-party cases. While experience in environmental law, particularly CERCLA, is a plus, it is not required. Remote work options are available depending on jurisdiction.Duties : Handle complex, multi-party environmental litigation cases.Draft and respond to discovery requests.Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal briefs.Collaborate with senior partners and the litigation team to develop case strategies.Contribute to the overall direction and execution of litigation plans.Engage in client communication and case updates as necessary.Requirements : At least 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on complex cases.Exceptional written communication and litigation writing skills.Ability to manage multiple aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting, and strategy development.Environmental law experience is preferred but not required, specifically knowledge of CERCLA.Strong collaborative and teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Education : Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications : Active license to practice law in Michigan.Skills : Outstanding legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases.Strong strategic thinking and case management abilities.Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.Effective communication skills for both internal and client-facing interactions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
