Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries. Ensures their effective operation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.

Essential Functions

  • Provide legal counsel, advice, review and direction to various departments and members of management on all levels in regard to regulatory affairs and environmental issues.
  • Ensure company compliance with all applicable federal, state & local commercial regulations & ensure that all legal obligations of the company are properly recognized & carried out.
  • Stay abreast of existing & new regulations & review, analyze & provide comments to notices of proposed rulemakings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Juris Doctorate degree from an Accredited Bar Association (ABA). Accredited law school and admission to the bar. Superior academic record.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) years of experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in a relevant area of law.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations and communications skills.


Preferred Qualifications: Employment litigation, class action and eDiscovery experience preferred.

Pay Transparency: The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location or locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the pay information represents the minimum and maximum range for all levels in that job family. Actual pay is determined by several job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, including, but not limited to, experience relative to the job, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.

Pay: Memphis, TN range: $11,177.95/mo - $19,002.52/mo | Pittsburgh, PA range: $11,766.26/mo - $20,002.65/mo

Additional Details: This is a hybrid position in Memphis, TN or Pittsburgh, PA.
