A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to manage eviction-related matters remotely. Duties
Manage a comprehensive eviction caseload, including client consultations and case strategy development.
Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings; courtroom experience is preferred.
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and keep abreast of changes in eviction laws and regulations nationwide.
Provide clients with updates and education on legal trends impacting eviction cases.
Requirements
Active membership in the California State Bar, with compliance with all licensing and continuing education requirements.
A minimum of one year of experience practicing law.
Experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title law is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
California State Bar membership. Additional bar admissions are a plus.
Skills
Proficient in legal research and drafting.
