Job descriptionActive membership in the California State Bar, with compliance with all licensing and continuing education requirements. A minimum of one year of experience practicing law. Experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title law is preferred but not mandatory. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school. California State Bar membership. Additional bar admissions are a plus. Proficient in legal research and drafting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional advocacy and negotiation abilities. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases effectively using case management software. Organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive, independent work style. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to manage eviction-related matters remotely. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently. Duties
- Manage a comprehensive eviction caseload, including client consultations and case strategy development.
- Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
- Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings; courtroom experience is preferred.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and keep abreast of changes in eviction laws and regulations nationwide.
- Provide clients with updates and education on legal trends impacting eviction cases.
