Job descriptionCurrently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Minimum GPA of 3.0 Analog / RF circuit design coursework and / or experience Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or other object-oriented language Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Understanding of RF principles and existing Wireless 3G / 4G standards (WCDMA, LTE, HSPA, etc.) and emerging 5G standards is highly desirable Experience with the RF specific hardware and test equipment commonly used (RF amplifiers, mixers, attenuators, filters, couplers, isolators, VCOs, synthesizers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers) is highly desirable Self-Starter with good communication skills Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
Responsibilities
may include :
- Creating automated test software to control test equipment and execute test plans
- Developing measurement automation using C++, C# along with custom tools
- Supporting test fixture and / or probe card design activities including PCB design and layout
- Reviewing product test specifications and applicable test equipment requirements to develop an understanding of real-world applications and operational impacts
- Measuring product using test equipment like DC source / measure units, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- Processing, verifying, and analyzing the measured data; producing clear and concise presentations and reports
- Assisting product teams with troubleshooting and resolution of die sort test issues and yield excursions.
- Yield improvement, cost reduction, throughput improvements while maintaining high quality.
Qualifications :
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience : $31-$42 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
